At Free 5G Wireless, our mission is to help eligible individuals access free or low-cost communication services through government programs like Lifeline. We do not charge our users to check eligibility, read our guides, or submit an initial application. If you qualify for a free government phone or tablet plan, that service is provided to you at no monthly cost.
How Our Business is Funded
To keep our informational resources free and maintain our application platform, Free 5G Wireless LLC generates revenue through two primary channels:
1. Carrier Partnerships & Affiliate Relationships
We partner with several nationwide Lifeline and ACP service providers. When an eligible user successfully enrolls in a Lifeline plan through our platform, we may receive a commission or referral fee from the participating carrier. This compensation helps cover the operational costs of our customer support team, website maintenance, and outreach efforts.
Please note that this compensation may influence which products we review or where they appear on the site, but it does not affect the total cost of the service to you, nor does it guarantee approval for the program. The government determines eligibility, not us.
2. Advertising
You may see advertisements on some of our informational pages, such as our blog or resource guides. These advertisements are clearly marked and are often served by third-party ad networks (like Google AdSense). We receive a small fee when users view or interact with these ads.
Our Editorial Independence
Transparency and trust are critical to us. While we rely on affiliate and advertising revenue, our editorial team operates independently from our partnership team. Our reviews, comparisons, and "Best Of" lists are based on objective metrics such as network coverage, device specifications, and customer service reviews—not on which carrier pays the highest commission.
