Georgia Gateway is the state government's web portal for accessing assistance programs, including Medicaid, SNAP (Food Stamps), TANF, and WIC. While WIC does not directly qualify you for Lifeline, active SNAP or Medicaid status found in your Gateway account definitely does.
Log in to your Georgia Gateway account and navigate to the "Check My Benefits" section. Take a screenshot or print the summary page. The document must show your name, the status as "Active," and the current benefit period. Submit this document when applying for your free smartphone.
