Special Lifeline qualifications for those who served.
The federal government recognizes the sacrifices of our veterans. If you receive the Veterans Pension or Survivors Pension benefit, you automatically qualify for the Lifeline program and can receive a free smartphone and unlimited monthly service.
When applying through our portal, select the Veterans Pension option. You will be required to upload your official pension grant letter or a recent benefit statement from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Active duty pay or standard VA healthcare does not automatically qualify you without meeting income limits.
