Number porting allows you to transfer your existing phone number from your old carrier (like AT&T, Verizon, or Boost Mobile) to your new Lifeline provider. This saves you the hassle of updating your contacts, doctors, and bank accounts with a new number.
To successfully port your number, you will need three pieces of information from your old carrier:
Do not cancel your old service before the port is complete! Your number must be active in order to transfer it. Once the port is successful, your old service will automatically cancel.
